	Popular family beach. Beautiful view of Hilo Bay. Shallow sand pool great for kids and beginner swimmers.

	Good swimming and calm water. Water is usually cold due to a freshwater cold spring nearby. More of a large pond, no real beach area.

	Safe, calm surf with excellent snorkeling. Green Sea Turtles and spinner dolphins often seen in the early morning hours. Scenic coastal view and several tidepools.
